Although most people believe that the United States has ONLY TWO political parties... We actually have more than six major political parties. The two most popular parties, Republicans and Democrats, are often referred to as "the lesser of two evils" by both sides.

Additional political parties, most often referred to as 3rd-party candidates, include: the TEA Party, the Constitution Party, the Libertarian Party, the Green Party, the Independent Party, and the Independence Party. Candidates running without a political endorsement from any party are known as Independent Candidates.

Your TV box would like you to believe that the TEA party was started by Fox News or by Sarah Palin (who ignorantly referred to the USA as a "democracy" THREE TIMES in her faux-TEA party speech and never mentioned Ron Paul while she deceptively discussed the TEA Party not having a king nor a queen), or by someone like Glen Beck who PRETENDS that he's the leader of the tea party.

The TEA party was actually started in 2006 when the 9/11 'ommission report was tossed into the Boston Harbor by 9/11 Truthers (whom Glen Beck constantly demonizes), and in 2007 when "tea partiers" threw **TEA** into the Boston Harbor and raised $4.2-million on November 5th, 2007 for Ron Paul to run for President (also whom Glen Beck constantly demonizes).

The REAL T.E.A. Party stands for "Taxed Enough Already" and is mostly comprised of Patriots who want to audit and abolish the Federal Reserve and IRS. the people who attend the TEA parties are also not exactly what your TV box portrays them as (racist republicans).

Truth is we are just as mad at the Republican's as we are at the Democrat's - because they BOTH have nearly identical policy. TEA party attendees are people who are so disgusted with DC that we've stood up to do something about the issues we care most about. The TEA party is thousands of diverse grass-roots groups ranging from Constitutional Patriots, to Tibetan monks, to GMO food activists, to 9/11 Truthers - We The People ARE the TEA party - and we know a hell of a lot more about politics than political puppets like Glen Beck. Think about it... How many mainstream Republicans do you know whom fly the Gadsden flag?

Ron Paul held what he described as a "very important" press conference on September 10th in Washington, DC. The event brought four third party and independent candidates "together in unity" around a statement of principles. The event came as polls showed the presidential race tightening and third party/independent candidates getting combined votes of over 10% in swing states. The four candidates - Independent Ralph Nader, the Green Party nominee Cynthia McKinney, the Constitution Party's Chuck Baldwin and the Libertarian Party's Bob Barr along with Ron Paul agreed on the following four key principles:

In politics, an independent or non-party politician is an individual NOT affiliated to any political party. Independents may hold a centrist viewpoint between those of major political parties, or they may have a viewpoint based on issues that they do not feel that any major party addresses. Other independent candidates are associated with a political party and may be former members of it, but choose not to stand under its label. A third category of independents are those who may belong to or support a political party but believe they should not formally represent it and thus be subject to its policies. Finally, some independent candidates may form a political party for the purposes of running for public office.

David Nolan was the founder of the Libertarian Party; Nolan mysteriously died after "having a stroke while driving"... less than a month after losing the 2010 Senate election in Arizona, running against the much more famous Republican former presidential candidate John McCain.

The concept of being a Libertarian destroys the whole left / right paradigm by focusing on the issues (personal and economic beliefs) and combining the best of both worlds to limit government control (maximize freedom) and oppose government spending (minimize taxes). The people testing opposite the Libertarians on the Nolan chart, are classified as statists, fans of big government.

David Nolan created a brief quiz that quickly spread among patriot on the Internet and became known as "the world's smallest political quiz". It plots you on a chart based on your answers to questions about your personal beliefs and political opinions regarding BOTH social AND economic issues.

The goal of the Constitution Party is to restore American jurisprudence to its Biblical foundations and to limit the federal government to its Constitutional boundaries.

The U.S. Constitution established a Republic rooted in Biblical law, administered by representatives who are Constitutionally elected by the citizens. In such a Republic all Life, Liberty and Property are protected because law rules. We affirm the principles of inherent individual rights upon which these United States of America were founded:

• That each individual is endowed by his Creator with certain unalienable rights; that among these are the rights to life, liberty, property and the pursuit of happiness;
• That the freedom to own, use, exchange, control, protect, and freely dispose of property is a natural, necessary and inseparable extension of the individual's unalienable rights;

The Green Party of the United States (GPUS) is a voluntary association of state green parties, and has been active as a nationally recognized political party since 2001.

The Green Party of the United States of America emphasizes environmentalism, non-hierarchical participatory democracy, social justice, respect for diversity, peace and nonviolence. Their "Ten Key Values," which are described as non-authoritative guiding principles, are as follows:

The Green Party does NOT accept donations from corporations. Thus, the party's platforms and rhetoric critiques any corporate influence and control over government, media, and American society at large.

What is the Republican Party?

Republic |riˈpəblik| noun: A state in which supreme power is held by the people and their elected representatives, and which has an elected or nominated president rather than a monarch. A community or group with a certain equality between its members. ORIGIN late 16th cent.: from French république, from Latin respublica, from res ‘concern’ + publicus ‘of the people, public.’

A Republic is REALLY the rule of law. Republics have a Constitution or Charter that cannot be changed by the whim of the majority at any time they want (like in a democracy). Republics have basic laws like: no killing, no stealing. These laws protect the basic "God-given" FREEDOMS of: right to free speech so we are FREE to think, believe and say whatever we want; right to privacy from warrantless searches; right to a fair trial so we cannot be punished for something we didn't do; and the rights to keep our own business earnings so we are free to live and prosper. A really good example of this is the Church and the 10 Commandments; churches will never hold a vote to see if we can kill, steal, and covet this week BECAUSE the 10 Commandments are permanent laws.

Our Bill of Rights does NOT give you any rights! The Bill of Rights was written to RESTRICT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT's rights by enumerating their only powers - so they cannot claim to have powers that they do not have. The 2nd amendment does NOT give you the "freedom to bear arms" (which was given to you by your creator) - it does however RESTRICT THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT from encroaching upon your "God-given" rights to bear arms. In fact people in the original colonies were actually expected to be armed (and trained) in order to help as a militia and protect the people's freedom in their area. The U.S. Constitution enumerates the powers of the federal government, while the Bill of Rights limits them from adding more powers later on (the power to mandate health INSURANCE is a perfect example of this). Any rights NOT delegated to the federal governement by the U.S. Constitution are reserved by the states; READ the 10th Amendment.

What does "Spreading Democracy" Mean?

A Democracy is most simply majority rule. In a REAL democracy EVERYONE VOTES ON EVERYTHING! Democracies need NO constitution because laws can be changed at anytime to fit the needs of the majority vote. Minorities will typically lose their rights and be persecuted in a democracy. For example, if 51% of the people are men, the majority can vote to have women do all the work - and the women could not do anything about losing this vote in a democracy.

Democracies work fine if we're talking about a family of four voting on what to have for dinner - but when you consider how much work is involved in having EVERYONE in a country as large as the United States, vote on every single issue brought up in Congress everyday = you'll realize why our founding fathers gave us a Republican form of government - as opposed to a democracy. Our founders knew this well because the early Greek democracies all failed, and actually produced some of the most tyranical governments in the history of the world.

The word "democracy" does NOT appear in the Declaration of Independence, NOR in the US Constitution, NOR in any of the States' Constitutions. However our founding fathers knew exactly what democracy was and were adamant in insisting that the USA be a REPUBLIC - rather than a democracy, which the John Birch Society describes as a transition between a Republic and an Oligarchy.

What were the Nazis?

Nazi |ˈnätsē| noun ( pl. Nazis ) historical: A member of the National SOCIALIST German Workers' Party. ORIGIN German, abbreviation representing the pronunciation of Nati- in Nationalsozialist ‘national socialist.’

The Nazi Party was formed in Munich after World War I. It advocated right-wing authoritarian nationalist government and developed a racist ideology based on anti-Semitism and a belief in the superiority of "Aryan" Germans. Its charismatic leader, Adolf Hitler, who was elected Chancellor in 1933, established a totalitarian dictatorship, rearmed Germany in support of expansionist foreign policies in central Europe, and thus precipitated World War II. The Nazi Party collapsed at the end of the war and was outlawed in Germany.

Nazism is REALLY defined as the National SOCIALIST Workers Party of Germany, a SOCIALIST government that OWNS some major corporations. Almost like a mirror image of Obama's takover of GM, Adolph HItler controlled Volkswagen during World War II - and by Hitler's orders, VW only produced war machines during WW2. If you ever wondered what the Germans were doing while Hitler was taking over their country with his brownshirts - maybe you should be asking yourself what are YOU doing while the USA is still in the longest war in American History? Some Patriots joke that the Romans were watching Roman Idol while Rome was burning to the ground; but it's not very funny when it's YOUR country...

What Is Socialism?

Socialism is REALLY defined as a government that OWNS most major corporations. Socialist governments typically control all of the education, transportation, communications, utilities, farms, major factories, and the labor force in a nation. Socialized companies eliminate the desire of a business owner or CEO to ensure the company buildings and facilities are kept in good condition, and that the workers are treated fairly. The lack of personal benefits from growing a business really stifles innovation and creativity.

In Marxist theory, Socialism is a TRANSITIONAL social state
between the overthrow of capitalism --- and the realization of communism.

What is Communism?

The most familiar form of communism is that established by the Bolsheviks after the Russian Revolution of 1917, and it has generally been understood in terms of the system practiced by the former USSR and its allies in eastern Europe, in China since 1949, and in some developing countries such as Cuba, Vietnam, and North Korea. Communism embraced a revolutionary ideology (in THEORY) in which the state would wither away after the overthrow of the capitalist system. In practice, however, the state grew to control all aspects of communist society. Communism in eastern Europe collapsed in the late 1980s and early 1990s against a background of failure to meet people's economic expectations, a shift to more democracy in political life, and increasing nationalism such as that which led to the breakup of the USSR.
